At Williams Windows we are committed to a better future and believe our journey is never complete. We are striving for sustainability in all forms across our business.

CREATE BETTER HOMES

  • Innovate and develop products centered on quality that lasts
  • Adopt innovation to drive sustainability (e.g. aim for best U-Values)
  • Create accessible features and product designs to work better for everyone
  • Design energy-efficient products and installation methods to help houses be more energy efficient and enhance comfort
  • Carefully select materials and develop features that are safe for the whole family
  • Engineer products that are easier to use

HELP CREATE A BETTER WORLD

  • Find innovative ways to reclaim and reuse materials. At present we recycle all uPVC that we remove from site. If you ask us to remove an old window or door, 100% of the uPVC is recycled by us.
  • We then use uPVC products that are created from at least 50% recycled uPVC.
  • We strive to source ethical and sustainable materials through strong supply chain partners. We select partners based on their approach to sustainability.
  • Enhance and serve the communities where we live and work
  • Aim to support local clean energy sources in our manufacturing processes
  • Practice continuous improvement to do more with fewer resources day after day

Manufacturing Facility



We are working on our Sustainability Action Plan, with a target date of 1st May 2024 to publish this. We will be the first UPVC Manufacturer in Scotland to publish this document. 


We are doing this because we are fully committed to beating the UK's Net Zero target by 2050.
