Roof lanterns and skylights from Williams Windows are an excellent addition to any home, offering numerous advantages that enhance both aesthetics and functionality. These installations flood interiors with natural light, creating bright, inviting spaces that can significantly improve mood and productivity. The increased natural light also helps reduce reliance on artificial lighting, potentially lowering energy bills. Furthermore, roof lanterns and skylights can enhance ventilation, allowing fresh air to circulate and maintaining a healthier indoor environment. They can even add a touch of elegance and modernity to your property, boosting its overall value and appeal.
All lanterns and rooflights are aluminium framed, with solar control, self-cleaning glass as standard — this keeps the roof cooler in summer and the outer pane cleaner for longer, without the cost or hassle of accessing hard-to-reach roof glazing. Lanterns carry a 1.2 W/m²K U-value as standard, with a free upgrade to 1.0 W/m²K available on request; flat rooflights come with a 1.0 W/m²K U-value as standard.
Stock sizes are made to a 5-working-day turnaround plus next-day delivery. The 1.0 U-value upgrade adds a few extra days (8–10 days total), and the Cool-Lite upgrade on flat rooflights adds a further 5–7 days.
